We Lift Women 6

We Lift Women 6 is a three-day expo that celebrates and supports women entrepreneurs across Guyana. Through a partnership with the Ministry of Human Services and Social Security and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), FloPay was selected to provide digital payment solutions for participating vendors.

How FloPay helped

FloPay enabled vendors to accept card payments through portable POS devices, giving customers greater payment flexibility while helping merchants reduce their reliance on cash. Flame & Flavour

Flame & Flavour is one of Guyana's premier outdoor culinary events, organised annually by the Tourism and Hospitality Association of Guyana (THAG). Following FloPay's successful support of We Lift Women 6, THAG engaged FloPay as its payment solutions partner.

FloPay provided portable POS devices that enabled THAG and participating vendors to accept card payments for event entry, food, beverages and specialty offerings such as Gemini Cocktails. Cashless options reduced cash handling, improved transaction efficiency and gave attendees more convenience.

GEMF EDM BPM Concert

GEMF EDM BPM Concert was Guyana's first Electronic Dance Music event, and the first time digital payments were introduced there, creating a more modern way for attendees to make purchases.

How FloPay helped

FloPay provided payment technology and dedicated on-site support throughout the 10-hour event. Seven FloPay staff rotated through the day to assist at ticket booths, bar stations and vendor locations. FloPay also supplied POS devices to specialty vendors, including cigar merchants, so they could accept card payments and serve customers faster.

While many attendees arrived with cash, card adoption increased significantly when payment terminals were visible and easy to reach. Payment choice matters.
